Welcome Back! I’ve recently been obsessing over popper pants like crazy, they’ve been around since quite a long time now and I’d been dying to style them & create killer outfits ever since I saw them. After an extensive search all around the www, I finally found the perfect affordable pair on koovs.com (you can buy it by clicking on the outfit description) . I decided to pair it with a pair of fishnet tights to amp it up a bit. Another trend that I incorporated in this look was The cropped hoodie( I diy-ed mine ), this too has been sported by fashion gurus all around the world. To match the white lettering on my hoodie, I went with a simple white bandeau and white sneakers.  I love this outfit as it’s a cumulation of all things on trend this season.

I’ve been obsessing over neck-scarves as well lately. I love the fact that you can style them in so many ways. Believe it or not, the “top” I’m wearing in this look is actually my handy-dandy neck-scarf! You can tie it on your neck (obviously), use it as a hair or bag accessory, wear it as a top like I did and so much more. This look is my take on the classic all-black ensemble. I styled the pants with a pair of triple t-stap heels and went with a blue crossbody purse. To accessorise further, I added a pair of hoop earrings. And that’s it!

Until next time

Welcome Back!

In today’s post I’m taking on denim on denim. Earlier, I used to get intimidated by this trend as I felt( and still feel ) that if done wrong, it could end up in a fashion disaster. But I finally decided to give it a try and absolutely LOVED the outcome. I decided to pair the denim with black additions ( if you do white too, it would look awesome) . I tucked a black mesh dress into my jeans with a black bandeau underneath . Finishing it off with Patent Black Booties gives the perfect touch to make the outfit pop. My key to denim on denim is pretty straightforward, keep it on the DL! Why? Because if you would wear anything distracting , it may take away from the denim on denim as well as look overwhelming. A good idea would be to try different variations which is exactly what I’m planning to do in the near future. Also, we shot this look at the Lodhi Art District which is a must if you want to get fire pictures!

Hey Guys! Today’s blog post is going to be all about summer pastels. I chose two of my favorite pastels for these looks- Blue & Pink. In my mind, when I think of pastels, I think summer. Since it is Delhi Summer, this post was bound to happen.

Let’s start with Look 1. Just like my mood on mondays, this outfit is very much blue. Two toned denim has been sported by all the fashion moguls as of lately. Although, very hard to find, it’s well worth the hunt (took me months) . It instantaneously detaches you from the rest of the regular-jean-wearing world, making you stand out. Further, I styled the jeans with a simple white crop top and added a corset (also another huge trend) ,I threw on a powder blue duster coat to finish it off, keeping footwear & accessories very basic.

Look 2 is probably one of the most sophisticated & classy outfits I’ve done thus far, it gives me total minimalist vibes. I paired the simple one shoulder pastel pink crop top with white culottes. Pairing white with pastels is the way to go in my opinion, that way you won’t go wrong. For footwear, I went with pink lace up block heels. And thats it!

Hope you guys liked the post!

Welcome Back!

We all know that the fishnet trend has taken over the world, and yes! I decided to jump on the bandwagon (finally). I know that I am a total late bloomer but hey! It took a long time for me to get used to it as I’m not a total grunge gal at heart. I think of my style as a mix of everything cute, classy & edgy.

This look encompasses my style with 100% accuracy. The overall dress- cute, the slicked back ponytail-classy and the fishnets & black sock boots- edgy. Now, this look was a little out of my comfort zone as it’s more on the grunge side- which is why I chose to not accessorize as I felt that the outfit balanced out perfectly.

You can totally turn this outfit into a daytime casual look by replacing the boots for a pair of all white sneakers! Or you can turn it up a notch by adding a pair of gold hoop earrings. You can buy my outfit by clicking on the photo captions!

Love,

Manvi

The Island Edit : Maldives

blogger, fashion, fashion blogger, Travel

Hey! I’m back in the city after my recent trip to the Maldives. Now, with my trip to the maldives came many things- beautiful memories, injuries from underwater coral, a very evident tan and so on. It was a 5 day holiday- which we later extended by a day, enthralled by the peace & tranquility offered by the island.

We decided to stay at the Sheraton Full Moon Resort & Spa located on an island called Furanafushi, around a 20 minute boat trip from the main island- Male.

I never thought being stuck on an island for 6 days would feel so good. We stayed at the beachfront cottages for 2 days & shifted to the over-water villas for the rest of the trip. From sharks swimming under my villa to waking up to the sound of the calm & serene Indian ocean- the villa was truly the best part of the trip. Although, my phone did break on day 2, I managed to survive on my family’s phones.

Don’t forget to check out my travel diary video that I put up on my instagram. Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Welcome Back Everyone!

This blog post is all about the pajama trend. I took a play on this trend with a pajama-inspired blazer, as I wanted a more subtle take on the trend. I created the outfit around the blazer, pairing it with a white bandeau and a white high waisted skort to compliment it’s white lining. To add a little more to the look, I paired it with my brand new babies from public desire. This pair of shoes take any outfit to the next level , looking super classy and on trend with it’s perplex heel and clear straps.

That’s all for now!

Love,

Manvi

Hey Guys!

I’m back with a badass look! I recently got my hands on these killer black leather lace-up pants, and needless to say, I’m in love. This pair of pants can surely make any outfit super edgy & fashionable (although sadly, they aren’t comfortable at all). I went with a pair of black peep-toe sock boots to class it up and a plain white crop top to tone it down , creating the perfect balance. To accessorize, I added a silver choker necklace & a black leather crossbody bag. As usual, I’ll have everything linked in the outfit descriptions ❤

Until next time,

XOXO

Trend Report 2016

blogger, fashion, fashion blogger, Uncategorized

Welcome to 2017! Every new year calls for new styles, trends and fashion! That’s what is so exhilarating every year, it’s almost like a mystery, you never know for sure what the fashion industry has ahead of you! One can only expect what ensembles are to be carried from the former year into the current one, obviously guesstimating, while trying not to be hackneyed. With that said, I wish you have the best year yet filled with loads of fashion and fun.

Today, I’m listing out my favorite trends from 2016 that I think are worthy enough to be incorporated in upcoming 2017 fashion , whether on the runway or the streets. I have 3 outfits styled around these trends along with inspiration pictures (mostly of kendall’s street style bc goals). I thought a post pretty much wrapping up 2016 fashion and saying farewell to it would be a must,so here it is! Buckle up, as this is going to be a long one!

Trend Report 2016

I

Mesh

My take on it

Processed with VSCO with hb1 preset

Mesh is certainly one of the most popular trends to follow. A great way to style it is to wear a bralette and a long necklace under. That’s what I’ve done with my outfit, this beautiful piece features flared sleeves and a tight high neck, making it the perfect mesh top. I was getting total bad girl vibes from this outfit, so I topped it off with a half up bun hairstyle to complete it.

II

Western Buckle Belts

My Take on it

This trend has been around for many years now, and I totally understand why. Belts can do so much for any outfit, imagine my outfit without the belt, it would be super boring and wouldn’t stand out. Buckle belts probably won’t ever go out of style. I love the look of these belts with mom jeans and chunky booties. My all black ensemble surely wouldn’t be complete without this piece.

II

Faux Fur

My Take on it

There are so many ways to wear faux fur, from coats to shoes, it looks great incorporated in any ensemble. If worn the right way, it can make you look instantaneously classy and chique. I chose my white fur coat to be the statement piece of the look. Paired with a plain salmon bodysuit to compliment the pink in the skirt and a pair of chunky heeled boots, it was the perfect girlie grunge outfit.

IV

Embroidery

My Take on it

Processed with VSCO with hb1 presetProcessed with VSCO with hb1 preset

There’s something about the combination of black and embroidery that screams my name. The darkest color paired with the most elegant embroidery patterns is the quintessential example of contrast. A big part of the Dolce & Gabbana 2016 fashion show was this trend, many other brands such as Gucci and Ellie Saab also featured this trend in their shows. I found this beautiful black embroidered skirt during my trip to Dubai on sale and it was love at first sight!

 V

Flares

My Take on it

Processed with VSCO with hb1 preset

Last but not least, bell bottom pants may not be everyone’s cup of tea. I personally used to hate these because of their 90s origin, but I’ve had a newfound love for them. We’ve seen them sported by all celebs on the streets and the runway. New variations of bell bottoms are super cool, I’ve been longing to have a pair with lace up detail or a frayed two-toned hem.

& MANY MORE

Some more examples are chokers, off the shoulder, metallics, fendi fur balls, velvet, cut-out graphic band tees, fur fenty sliders, slip dresses, bomber jackets, oversized sweatshirts, over the knee boots, sock boots, fishnet tights, Gucci fur loafers, lace-up, suede, culottes etc.

As usual, I’ll have everything linked in the outfit details!

Farewell 2016!

Hello 2017 ❤

Hey Guys! So I recently went on a week long vacay to Dubai,United Arab Emirates

I really didn’t plan the outfits as I had to pack in less than an hour. I literally threw my travel essentials and favorite basics from my wardrobe into my suitcase and just went with the flow! At the end of the day, basics paired well can make the best outfits.

Thus, this blog post is all about styling basics. If you notice, throughout all the outfits, there is a statement piece, which is basically any item that revamps a simple & boring outfit to something a little more special, may it be an embroidered skirt (Day II) or some layered delicate chokers (Day V). Moreover, this makes the styling process more eventful as it makes your mind work and challenges you to create great outfits from just some simple items.

My favorite look would probably be the outfit I wore on Day III. I threw on a blue silk button down shirt over a distressed cutout t-shirt ( which I DIYed myself) and a pair of sneakers to give it a raid-back feel.

If you wish to buy items similar to those in my oufits, I’ll have them linked in my outfit description.

Until next time,

Xoxo ❤

PICTURES SHOT AT THE LODHI HOTEL & LODHI ART DISTRICT, NEW DELHI

Hey guys! I’m ecstatic to share these looks with you all today, I have 2 outfits centered on my top two winter essentials- a biker style faux leather jacket & a pair of over the knee boots.

Since I’ve figured out that it is extremely hard to find the perfect pair of boots and jacket in India, as always, I’ve found the best jackets and boots available online & linked them below. Over the knee boots have been rocked by all bloggers and celebrity personalities so it’s definitely a trend to follow.

For Outfit #1, I paired the boots with a flowy babydoll dress & to add a pop of color, I carried my all time favorite blue crossbody purse. An easy way to spruce up an outfit is to either throw on a statement jacket or purse. If it were colder, I would add a pair of tights underneath.

For Outfit #2, I chose to go with a more refined formal look. Over the knee boots look amazing with a pair of jeans, I went with a grey pair and tucked in a plain white turtleneck to add contrast. This outfit is my go-to winter outfit, you can even switch out the faux leather jacket with a sturdier & warmer coat to render it transitional for the cold.
